First came James, making his entrance aboard a red vintage David Brown 950 tractor, its engine humming a melody that spoke of their shared love of the land and each other. The music played out and the pride and joy radiating from James set the perfect tone for what was to come. Jumping off the tractor James made his way to greet his family and friends.

Then came a moment that will forever be etched in everyone's memory.

Rachel arrived not in a traditional limousine or vintage car, but atop her beloved Pip, a magnificent 25-year-old stallion. The sight was breathtaking—her beautiful white dress flowing gracefully as she rode with the confidence and grace of someone completely at home in the saddle. There was something profoundly moving about watching her arrive this way, a beautiful symbol of bringing her whole self to this moment. The juxtaposition was perfect—not because it was unconventional, but because it was so genuinely them.

An Arrival Like No Other

As Rachel dismounted, greeted by her father started to walk down the aisle and then they saw each other—their expressions said it all and it was at that moment all their planning and hard work culminated in a beautiful, shared moment.

The ceremony itself was held outdoors surrounded by family and friends. David led them through their story, vows which made people laugh and cry. Two readings were shared by Nan which were deeply personal, honouring their journey.
